Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. West! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot Saturday night at a 400-year-old fort in Florence, Italy and when we say no expense was spared, you'd better believe it. Now this was a true fairytale wedding (sorry Kris Humphries). While details about the nuptials have been scarce so far — we have to wait for the reality TV special for all of the good stuff — we do know there's already been a lot of merrymaking in Europe so far. And even though the vows have been exchanged, the KimYe party is expected to rage the rest of the weekend. Here's what we know about the nuptials pregnant so far:
The vows were exchanged in Italy KimYe said "I do" in front of a wall of flowers at Fort di Belvedere in Florence. Legendary opera singer Andrea Bocelli sang while Kim walked down the aisle to her groom. Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami, performed the ceremony. Apparently both stars said their own vows sweetly and Kris Jenner cried during the ceremony. Awww. Sources say Kanye was a bit nervous before things got underway, but everything went according to plan. "It was funny how nervous he was," an insider told People. pregnant "He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It's common for most grooms. I've seen it all before." Well, everything went according to plan except a few notable guests were absent — like Kim's brother Rob. He was in Europe for the festivities, but TMZ reports that he jetted back to L.A. before attending the nuptials after a family fight of some sort. Yikes. And, Beyonce and Jay Z didn't show up after Jay was supposedly confirmed for the wedding and his wife was a "maybe." (Bey did wish the newlyweds well on Instagram, however.) Despite the no-shows, there were plenty of famous faces and family members in attendance — like John Legend, who performed "All of Me" at the reception. Guests sat around marble tables for the performance and extravagant dinner, after receiving seating instructions pregnant on fancy stationery. The menu hasn't been revealed, but you can bet there was no mac 'n cheese at this fete. In fact, each meal probably cost more than your monthly grocery budget, considering Kim's bachelorette dinner set them back about $400 per person. Now let's get to the good stuff: We now know Kim, Kanye, and baby North wore Givenchy for their special day. North was carried down the aisle by Grandma Kris, just before Bruce Jenner escorted Kim down the aisle. Adorable. So far, there are only a few grainy pics of the wedding floating around the Interwebs. Stay tuned! (P.S. Kim last got married 1,0008 days ago.) Here's what we know about the rest of the weekend:
The Bachelorette Party was at the Eiffel Tower Earlier in the week, Kim, Kanye and everyone pregnant who's anyone jetted to the City of Light for glamorous fun and fancy dinners before the main event. You can only imagine how much couture pregnant has traveled across the Atlantic in the last week. Kim and her girls had a bachelorette party of sorts Thursday night that included a dinner that cost $400 a head and a private pregnant party inside the Eiffel Tower — and really, really sparkly dresses. Of course, Kim's BFFs were all there as well as her sisters.
The Pre-Wedding Party was at a Castle And not just any castle, Valentino's French castle, Chateau de Wideville. It's just a little old 17th Century castle on 120 acres — pregnant nothing special. Everyone brought their A-game to the venue Friday for a swanky pre-wedding brunch. Kim was decked out in a, well, Valentino dress and you can bet Kanye's dapper suit was the same.
The pregnant Wedding Dinner was at Versailles When you're like these two, you can afford to have a wedding dinner at the Palace of Versailles. The gorgeous grounds were decked out for the festivities and, here's the common theme: No expense was spared. The dinner consisted of caviar, expensive champagne, and "pretty much everything was truffled," according to a source. Lana Del Ray reportedly performed three songs for the couple and magician David Blaine was hired to entertain the folks mingling about the palace. The only apparent hitch so far? Jay Z and Beyonce didn't show up at the Paris dinner. There was another wardrobe change for the bride and groom at the dinner, naturally. Both stars opted not to wear shirts. After much merrymaking at the palace, the group settled down for the evening and then jetted to Italy a few hours later for the main event. Source: Zimbio
