Something I've noticed with me personally... I can take 1/4 to 1/2 for situations that cause me anxi

Wishingstar, taking Ativan, or how you take it really depends on each individual. It can help those of us with extremes anxiety when taken on a daily basis, but it has addictive qualities..... So always be careful and talk to the doctor about that. It has worked for me taking it on an "as needed" basis. And for a few months I've taken a full dose at bedtime to help with my sleep.
Something I've noticed with me personally... I can take 1/4 to 1/2 for situations that cause me anxiety and feel it calming metronidazol me pretty quickly. But when I take it at night I take a whole dose... It doesn't make me sleepy until many hours later. So I've been trying to remember to take it about an hour before I plan to go to sleep. If not I am tired the next morning instead of during the night. metronidazol
I've taken Ativan in the past, and still carry it on me at all times "just in case" and I would say it definitely should metronidazol only be used occasionally or when absolutely necessary because as the person stated above said it can be very addictive. At one point I found myself "needing" to take one for every little thing. I'd say ok I have to travel here today so let me just take the ativan cause I know it'll help me feel normal. And I don't think that's how it should be used, an AD would be a much better choice to take on a consistent basis.
Ativan never worked for me so I only took it a couple times. For long term panic anxiety management they usually prescribe an antidepressant. Some of those don't start to work right away and cannot metronidazol be stopped at once. While they're waiting for the drug to take effect they may prescribe a benzo for more immediate relief. This is just my experience.
Anti depressants are another med that is definitely different for each person that takes it. It really depends on the individual's type of anxiety and the issues they deal with. I personally have never done well with anti depressants. They make my panic attacks worse. It's best to discuss your anxiety issues with the doctor and decide with him/her which med route is best. Anxiety/triggers/ causes are so different for each person. metronidazol For some it's a metabolic thing, some it's a brain chemical thing, some it's a life experience/ PTSD thing and some it's a genetic inheritance of "bad nerves". So as much as I wish there was a "fix all pill".... There just isn't
I'm fine at home, even walking around outside. But, other than that, the agoraphobia kicks in and I get horrible anxiety. I'm not interested in a long term antidepressant at this time, just as needed. I appreciate the feedback Reply
