AGUA (5) Exhibition Itinerante Alimentum (16) artifice cuisine (3) Talks And Lectures (26) KITCHENS

All assets, by definition, is at risk. If not, probably not worth, because we want to preserve it for centuries. And preservation npi involves defending against threats, whether actual or foreseeable sudden ..
The first danger is the heritage itself. Nothing lasts forever: most of the things made by mankind have come down to us and that they did have inherent problems of preservation. From the Paleolithic paintings that you can not even breathe in front of them, including Catalan vaults that have the uncomfortable habit of getting rid themselves over time. Everywhere are potential disasters npi that converts technicians heritage, often, little more than embalmer npi remains more or less preserved.
Moreover, interventions npi that have affected npi urban and architectural heritage we have provided some successful interventions, but especially a true catalog of horrors. I do not want to talk about destruction, but when attempted to manage the assets at risk. For me, the classic heritage of the fragments are no context in the middle of a roundabout (church door, wine press, floor, house, etc. ..). Another type of intervention trace the buildings are made with the intention of saving the heritage and generally end up being an exercise in self-affirmation and the designer an absolute nightmare heritage and those who have to work.
And within the profession, what we find? Heritage management involves, first, a "negotiation" is not formalized between two extremes: wealth stripped, used and manipulated by the greatest number of people and assets hidden, protected and inaccessible. What about the invisible line that connects the two ends should we stop? So where are we willing to go? Could endanger the assets entrusted to ensure that we move forward on our agenda professional?
Our reputation as asset managers will improve if we can put the assets available to more and more people: the number of visitors is a basic parameter management. If we force a little lighting so that objects shines in the windows probably increase the number of visitors npi and this certainly is good in our work life. To what extent are we willing npi to let us fall into the dark side?
And finally, the extent to which national authorities are willing to defend npi the heritage? Our regulations are very strict and will not help create jobs for low-skilled, well-paid but in the world of construction. Governments have much depreciated assets that generates great expense and now we're lean. What awaits us: relaxaments in the rules? Difficulties inexplicable part catalogs? Low inventory? Delays in inspections?
